Press the saute button on the Instant Pot.
Add the onions and water and saute until tender.
Add the paprika and garlic and mix well.(if it starts to clump up or stick to the bottom no worries)
Add the beans and broth and using a flat wooden utensil, scrape the bits off the bottom of the pot.
Add the syrup, tomato paste, vinegar, mustard and salt.
Combine well and secure lid and set seal to sealing.
Press the manual pressure button and direct time (using the "+" button to 75 minutes.
After cooking time has completed, let the Instant Pot naturally release its pressure for 20 minutes, then carefully manually release the remaining pressure.
Carefully remove the lid and stir beans.
Serve and enjoy.
